Welcome to Farm-Fresh
Discover regional producers, shop locally, save on CO2 and packaging. Farm-Fresh is live. Be part of it.
It all started with a short video about German farmers unable to sell their potatoes. For just €2 per 100kg, they are turned into biogas. Meanwhile, we buy potatoes every day at the supermarket: industrially processed, transported across Europe, wrapped in plastic, passed through several middlemen. And all because we simply don't know what's growing right next door.
That was the moment that set Farm-Fresh in motion.
Not far away. Right around the corner.
Another image stuck with me: a small farm stand by the roadside. Always open. No staff, just a camera. You take what you need and put the money in a locked compartment. No markup, no margin for some corporation somewhere. The entire proceeds go directly to the person who produced it.
This principle, direct contact between producer and buyer without detours, is the foundation of Farm-Fresh.
The map is not a feature. It is the core.
Many platforms start with the assortment: What is available? How much does it cost? Farm-Fresh starts differently - with the place. With the question: What is actually around me that I don't yet know about?
The map makes visible what is already there. Farms and regional businesses can create their own store there, with products, prices and opening hours. If you find something suitable, you simply drive there. No shopping cart, no delivery, no complicated process. Direct, on-site, the way it used to be normal.
The idea behind it: When you see on the map how much exists in your own surroundings, a different connection to what you buy emerges. This isn't somewhere. This is here.
The beginning, not the goal.
At the time of this post, Farm-Fresh has just gone live, and the map is still quiet. No established network, no hundred sellers. We say this openly, because it matters: A platform like this works when people use it. And that's exactly what we need now.
That's why we speak of a Soft Opening. The platform is set up, the basic functions are running, and it is now accessible to everyone. Free, without commission. What is still growing is the community behind it.
Who we're looking for
On the producer side: Anyone already selling their products, directly from the farm, at a market, or from a small stand, can simply become more visible on Farm-Fresh. A store is set up quickly, and the reach extends beyond your own neighborhood. Maybe someone on vacation in your region finds your stand. Maybe someone is specifically looking for a regional specialty that you offer. These are the connections we want to create.
On the buyer side: We are looking for people who want to shop locally but don't yet know where. Take a look at the map. Maybe you'll find something nearby that you didn't know about. And maybe it's enough to see once how close it is to make a different choice on your next shopping trip. We're looking for anyone who is ready to help create a more regional future with us from the very beginning.
From here
The map is still quiet. But that's how everything starts. What gets built on it is up to you. We keep developing, we listen, and we report here on what's coming.
The long-term idea is simple: A network dense enough that you no longer have to travel far. Regional food, available everywhere. Not through global supply chains, but because the region itself delivers.
Farm-Fresh is live now. Come by.
